For our last project of the year, we were to design a pattern and apply it to a product.
I'm a fan of old floral couches you might see in an elderly person's home, covered in squeaky plastic. I applied something inspired by that aesthetic to clothing I might wear. Although I like patterns, I like them most when used sparingly so I only really have them applied in small patches with the exception of the socks.
Socks are some of the only bits of clothing I like that could be covered entirely in a pattern, but thats mainly because the whole thing isn't usually on display.
The idea behind Bouquet Boutique was to combine a plant nursery and clothing store. Buying houseplants are a recent hobby of mine.
